I finally got a chance to read the second book of Veronica Rossi's trilogy, and I am estatic, tortured, and devastated. Happy because T. and C. were rescued and Aria and Perry aren't afraid to let others know about their relationship. I am tortured because I have to wait for Into the Still Blue. I am devastated because of Liv's XXXXX and I already miss Roar.


On the somewhat bright side, Veronica Roth's book, Allegiant, will be out in like 150 something days. Yeahhhhno. Too far away.

Tomorrow I'm going to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for a field trip. We have until 10:30 am to 5 pm to see exhibits, eat at the buffet, record information, and go on any rides. No chaperones, only teachers stationed here and there. The only thing is, you can't go anywhere. Not that I'd want to. You can choose whoever you want to go with. My bestie, Nicole and I are going together with a couple of other friends. Though we'll probably end up joining another group eventually.

Exicted, tortured, and devastated, all at once. That's got to be a record for me.

Spending Spring Break in Hawaii! I tried to post this a week ago, but didn't have a chance. We leave for home tomorrow. I'll try to put up some pics. I read and finished The Host in 2 days last week. I absolutely loved it!

I can't believe this. People can be so rude to others for voicing their opinion. Especially when the people who are simply just expressing their thoughts to be understood. For example, take a problem that has two or more sides that have different opinions. It's pathetic and sad how some people can be so rude, disrespectful, and judgmental to other people who simply voice their opinion that's different from their own.

I mean seriously! I recently read YoriNapati's journal about her opinion about homosexuality, my.deviantart.com/messages/#/a… , and I can't believe how many people unwatched her for something so simple as voicing her opinion. While I don't agree with Yori, I'm not going to put her down for her beliefs, as so many people did. She didn't say she hates homosexuals, so I don't see why so many people had to give her such a hard time. So she doesn't support gay marriage? She's seventeen. Her vote doesn't count. Even if it did, what are the odds that the opposing side will win because of her single vote?

Debates and differences like this get in the way and overwhelm so many people it's beginning to divide the United States of America. Almost everyone who lives in America or their family/ancestors sacrificed something to live in this country. A country where people from all over the world could live in peace and harmony. But so much will have just been wasted if we let such small and petty differences segregate us all.
